Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to all mobile applications published by IslaMobile (“we”, “the publisher”), including the Islamobile application. Depending on the application you use, some of the features and processing described below may or may not be present. Our applications do not create a user account and do not require your name or email address to function.

1. Data we process
1.1 Usage and diagnostic data
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how our applications are used and to fix issues. We collect technical, pseudonymous data: usage events, device model, OS version, language, app version, pseudonymous installation identifiers, and — in the event of a crash — diagnostic logs. This data does not directly identify you.
1.2 Advertising
Some of our applications display ads through Google AdMob (and its delivery partners). Where the app offers a Premium subscription, ads are disabled for the entire duration of an active subscription. Depending on your consent:
- With consent (personalized ads): advertising identifiers, including the IDFA if you allow it via Apple's “App Tracking Transparency” prompt, and ad-interaction data.
- Without consent: non-personalized ads, with limited data processing (measurement and fraud prevention).
Consent is collected and managed through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
1.3 Location
Some of our applications offer location-based features (for example prayer times or the Qibla direction) and then access your location to perform the corresponding calculations. This is processed on the device. We do not retain your location; where applicable, and only with your advertising consent, it may contribute to ad delivery. You can revoke location access at any time in your device Settings.
1.4 Subscriptions and purchases
Where an application offers Premium subscriptions (which disable advertising while active and may unlock content), these are handled by Apple via the App Store. We neither receive nor store your payment data; the app only stores locally the status of your entitlement (active or not).
1.5 Notifications
If you enable them, our applications may schedule local notifications (for example reminders). They are managed on your device.
1.6 Online-delivered content
Some applications deliver content (for example audio) from our delivery servers, operated through a content delivery network (Cloudflare). To ensure delivery and service security (in particular app integrity validation), the servers may log technical data such as IP address and the requests made.

3. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. It may be processed by our technical service providers for the purposes above:
- Google (Firebase, AdMob and delivery partners) — see Google's privacy policy.
- Apple (App Store, purchases) — see Apple's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare (content delivery) — see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
4. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers (Google, Apple, Cloudflare) may process data outside the EU, in particular in the United States. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent mechanisms).
5. Data retention
Analytics and diagnostic data are retained according to Google Firebase's default durations. Technical delivery logs are kept for a limited time for security and proper operation. Advertising data is retained according to Google AdMob's policies.
6. Your choices and consent
- Advertising and tracking: you can accept or decline via the consent message shown in the app, and revoke tracking at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Location: manage in Settings → Privacy → Location Services.
- Notifications: manage in Settings → Notifications.
- Remove ads: by subscribing to a Premium subscription (where the app offers it); advertising is disabled while the subscription is active.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability regarding your data. To exercise them, email us at contact [at] islamobile [dot] fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), the French supervisory authority.
8. Children
Our applications are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. The ads shown are limited to a “general audiences” content rating. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including app integrity attestation for access to online-delivered content.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page; significant changes will be signaled within the relevant applications where appropriate.
11. The islamobile.fr website
The www.islamobile.fr website may use audience measurement (Firebase / Google Analytics) to understand how it is visited. It is only enabled after your consent, collected through the banner shown during your visit; your choice is stored in your browser and can be reset by clearing the site's browsing data. The site sets no other trackers.
