Supplications for the mosque and prayer
Going to the mosque, crossing its threshold, leaving it, closing the prayer: each of these moments has its own formula in the prophetic tradition.

None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent.O Allah, none can prevent what You have willed to bestow and none can bestow what You have willed to prevent, and no wealth or majesty can benefit anyone, as from You is all wealth and majesty.

Jabir ibn Abdullah — may Allah be pleased with them both — reported: “The Messenger of Allah used to teach us to seek guidance (Istikharah) in all matters, just as he taught us a surah of the Quran.” He would say: “When one of you resolves to do something, let him pray two rak'ahs beyond the obligatory prayers, then say:
O Allah, I seek Your guidance through Your knowledge, and I seek ability through Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty, for You are able and I am not, and You know and I do not, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know this matter — and he names it — to be good for me in my religion, my livelihood and the outcome of my affairs, then decree it for me, ease it for me, and bless me in it. And if You know this matter to be bad for me in my religion, my livelihood and the outcome of my affairs, then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me what is good wherever it may be, and make me content with it.”
